Strong citizens from around our own little county picketed during the lunch-hour in front of the Van Buren County Courthouse in Clinton, Arkansas, on Wednesday, December 19, 2007.

They said all they want is a new Sheriff in town, and a good District Attorney.
Most of the people that came out of the courthouse agreed with all the picket signs and what the citizens had to say.
Even Shawna Weiss (that's me!) helped with the picketing.
Megan Stahl, the editor of our county newspaper, the Van Buren County Democrat, came to see how things were doing.
The citizens hope their message will get through to people and be remembered. They plan to picket again at the same location during the lunch-hour on Wednesday, January 9 and are also having a Town Hall Meeting on January 12, 2008.
